This is one of the most popular free activities at Disney World Florida. It is a good idea to find out where your favourite characters are scheduled to be on the days you are attending. Arrive in good time and be prepared to have to queue to meet the characters. Don’t forget to have an autograph book or notebook for the characters to sign and to pose for photos with them.

At Tomorrowland Speedway and the Dumbo ride ask cast members for a free unofficial Disney ‘driving licence’ certifying your children are qualified to drive or fly. You can ride without the licences, but they add to the fun.

Ride the monorail around the Contemporary, Polynesian and Grand Floridian resorts for free and enjoy the view. Of course, once in the park, there is a host of free rides including train, boat and bus.

While thinking about transport inside Disney World Florida, cast members on the various forms of Disney transportation may have transportation trading cards that they will give out on request for free.
Disney Springs
When the weather is hot, look out for the interactive fountains around the park, where you can splash about in the water. The kids will also enjoy the free outdoor play area at the Lego Imagination Center. If you are lucky enough to be there on the first Tuesday of the month, starting at 5pm for the Monthly Mini Model Build, children aged 6-14 can build and take home a free mini model!
